Chris Forsey RI says, “My 5th painting DVD for Townhouse Films was released just before Christmas. It was all filmed in Cromer in Norfolk and was great fun as usual. It involved some outdoor sketching and given that the weather was wet, grey, and windy, we managed to achieve some filming on the beach during a brief dry morning, still grey though unfortunately. I then managed to complete 3 paintings back in our temporary studio using watercolour, ink, acrylic and oil pastel. Filming while I paint and describing what I am doing is always a little stressful, but things seemed to go well. After some editing by Malcolm, with the addition of a gallery section of my pictures, credits and music, it was a wrap! I was pleased with the result, always a challenge but worth it in the end when I view the final film. I’m still waiting for my Oscar nomination!!!”
