Established by the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours in the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year of 2022 in celebration of the seven decade reign of our Patron, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and created in recognition of the support of the RI by both Her Majesty and by our Honorary Member, HRH The Prince of Wales.
A prize of £700 awarded to an artist under the age of 30 for a painting in watercolour and/or water based medium. The prizewinner’s work will be exhibited at the 210th Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours at the Mall Galleries in London in April 2022.
