Six Members of the RI are exhibiting in the Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries this year, both as members and non-members. Members Colin Allbrook , Deborah Walker and the late Paul Banning will be showing their collections alongside paintings by Robin Hazlewood, Brian Smith and Matthew Phinn.
The Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition features works celebrating all aspects of the sea in a broad range of styles and media.
The common theme is the sea and tidal waters although, within that remit, work is wide and varied. Subjects range from deep water shipping to coastal scenes, competitive sailing to quiet harbours, marine wildlife to still life.
