A busy day in the gallery for Ian Sidaway RI and Geoffrey Wynne RI. Ian was showing a collection of his dynamic sketchbooks and answering questions about his work and techniques. This is always a very popular event and draws quite a crowd, eager to take a look ‘behind the scenes’ of his paintings.
Geoffrey was in the gallery talking to visitors and answering questions about the exhibition and his own work. A very popular addition to the exhibition this year is the display of our Archives in the Threadneedle Space, both photographs and images dating back to the 1800’s charting the history of the RI.
