Artist Statement

Through my landscape paintings, I aim to capture the play of light and shadow, the interplay of colour, the textures and patterns found in the environment and its interaction with humans.

My goal is to create works that are both aesthetically pleasing and emotionally resonant, inviting viewers to experience the wonder and beauty of the world around us through art.

I usually wander around the city or a park and stumble upon a location that provokes me to meditate through the painting process.

Environment around us is a symphony of motion, people passing by, birds chirping, varied scents and changing weather.

I like to immerse myself in the surroundings and make intuitive decisions. It is similar to long exposure photography, but more human, capturing a chunk of time in one frame.
